What do i do about this professor…?
For one, he doesn’t teach the class material. But my real problem is with some of his statements, in particular, that when he visited a factory in china… the chinese men really knew how to keep their women down and in line, and how he admired this. He reitterated keeping them down and in line many times. Before he made this statement, he even said, I probably shouldn’t say this… but did anyway. I paid for this class, and don’t feel I should have to listen to his garbage. What should I do????

Bring a recorder to class and be sure to turn it on during the lectures. The next time he makes such remarks, challenge him. Ask “Are you suggesting that women should be ‘put down and kept in line’ just in China, or are you suggesting that this method should be applied in our own country as well as others?”
Hopefully this will begin a dialogue involving others in the class but, in case it doesn’t, be prepared to continue pummeling him with similar questions until you’ve totally embarassed him. Then take the recording to the proper school authorities so that they can see what this jerk is teaching.

Unless you *have* to take the class, stay in and grit your teeth the whole way, otherwise, leave and complain about what the teacher was saying and doing, the reason why you left.
That’s what anyone would do, really. Sorry for you to get stuck with such a jerk of a prof.
