NOT USING Y!A ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!

What courses will I have to take?

I am wanting to be a radiologist or a school councilor when I’m older. I have one problem though, I don’t know what courses I need to take for either one of those. I need to know the courses before I choose so I can choose the right job for my abilities. I am right now a sophomore in High School, so I still have a few years to decide. Does anyone know what are the courses (even in High School) I should look into? Thanks

Well if you mean what courses in college you will have to take it varies by college. Some colleges have more mandatory courses than others. I am a junior in high school and my plan is to get a degree in social work to become something like a school counselor. This is the list of courses from Providence college for the social work major:(the mandatory classes for Providence have been omitted)

This list goes through all four years and again does not include the core curriculum all colleges will differ slightly:

I

intro to human services

human behavior throughout the lifespan

human biology

behavior in social systems

practice with individuals, families, &groups

social policy

ethnicity & social diversity

community and political practice

social work internship

theory/practice capstone

research, design, and statistic analysis

In high school you’ll want to take psychology courses if they are offered, or things of that nature. I have no idea about radiology though, sorry. Best of luck

i’d suggest biology, anatomy, or whatever health related science courses are taught at your school.
