I actually did the mistake of letting my family decide for me where I went to college after high school. I was one of those bad students in high school who “didn’t care” and then i got my act together in the end and ended up doing “okay” enough to get into a couple of colleges. But when I was denied by San Diego State I didnt care, I had family that worked on campus at Cal State L.A. — so they said I should go there, so I did.
It wasn’t a terribly bad decision, but I did learn that for the future I should really do research and look around and visit a campus before I just decide where I will spend the next couple years of my life.
But I don’t regret the decision I made – I still have learned a lot, especially about myself and my interests while in college.

I chose my university because of my course of study. I wanted to be in business, so I looked up the top business schools in the country. I also picked my college because of 1) It’s dorms (how functional they are, if they have heat and AC 2) What kind of food was there (on campus, I mean.) 3) What kind of financial aid was offered and 4) What opportunities the college had (a great swim team for me, a good business school, etc.) The last thing I looked for was location. As long as the college had the things that I wanted above, I didn’t really care where it was. Cornell Univ.

I attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. I come here because it is the closest school to my house and one of the best universities is Arkansas. Where do you go???

I went to Coastal Carolina University, mostly because it was in South Carolina, far away from my hometown in upstate NY.

i attended a private college it was expensive but it just let me do the courses i needed for my degree i got to skip math i was going in for paralegal it called everest college or mountain west
