1. Go back to school, get your teaching license, and teach French.
2. Go back to school, get your Ph.D, and fight for a small number of university positions.
3. Go back to school, get an MA in translation, and fight for jobs with native French speakers who’ll be preferred over you.
4. Go back to school and get a degree in something else, preferably accounting or nursing.
5. Look around for a clerical position and move back home.

Graduate study is also an option — linguistics is a growing field of research at the university level, and a background in a second language is an added bonus.
