It doesn’t make much sense that you moved across country for a program, because even if it did exist, there was no guarantee that you would be accepted into it. You should have contacted them first, to make sure you stood a chance of getting in. What isn’t clear is if the program ever existed. If the school had advertised a random program in the hope of attracting students, that would be bait and switch, and if you could afford it, you could sue to recover your moving costs. If the program once existed, but was discontinued for this year, they had a right to place the curriculum on their website.

Tell them to go screw themselves and update their website, then find another college. there are thousands of programs in the States, so there have to be a couple good ones near Portland.

not much you can do about it, is there? if they don’t have it, they don’t have it…look elsewhere. they’re not about to start up that program just for one person
