Your question sent up a flag to me, I thought that number ones answer was really good, but having read your question it creates a certain amount of consternation in me to think that you are going to get in. I have no doubt hat you will make a good pharmacist. Now my problem If I am the dean of admissions the thing that would jump out at me is Phoenix College. Phoenix College? What Phoenix College? Are you in residence at Phoenix College? Are you studying on line? If I were Dean and a person applied to my school and did his/her pre-regs on line even with a 4.0 I would have reservations about admitting them to my school. You have to remember that even though the pre-reg is two years minimum that does not mean that you are even going to be considered. If enough people apply with a 4 year degree and have a 3.8-4.0 average there is no reason to bring in a 2 year. AND where one matriculates does count.

Note; Sure it helps, many people don’t seem concerned about what you have or haven’t done, but the truth is the the dean of admissions looks at each student with an eye for the total person. My son graduated magna *** laude, with a BS the requirement for a BA was 124 S.H. a BS was 135 S.H. he had 139 S.H. and he did this in a 4 year program while working at another University in their aging study. The dean of admissions at the Medical School where he studied to become a Dr. was very interested in him but more than just his graduating magna *** laude. Keep in mind that every student that goes to medical school are all top performers and it is very competitive so yes all of the additional things that you ask about are not just nice to know but can also mean the difference of going or not going.

Yes there is a chance for you to get into USC Pharmacy School if you get very very very high marks. Since you plan on studying only 2 years, you need to get at least a +3.9 GPA. Also, you’ll need great letter of recommendations and pharmacy experiences that shows your dedication to the profession.

The average GPA for entering students to the pharmacy school is 3.4. Most students do hold a Bachelors, however this is not hte requirement. They do interview anywhere from 30% to 50% of the applicants so you have a great chance of getting an interview if you can get a high GPA.
