It’s been quite some time since I’ve read the book (back in H.S. and I’m 34 now), but one thing I can’t remember being in the book, but was in the movie, was the infatuation Wynona Ryder’s character had with the one lady’s husband…the “Last of the Mohican’s” guy. I am so drawing a blank on the characters names right now.

Sorry I can’t be of more help. If you’ve both read the book and seen the movie then you could probably have your memory spurned by doing just a bit of research online or with CliffNotes (if those still exist.)

If you haven’t read the book, nor seen the movie, the book is written like a play, so it doesn’t take long at all to read. You could get it read fairly quickly. (Or at least the book I read was written like a play.)

Right now I’m so getting The Crucible mixed up in my head with The Scarlet Letter, so I’d better stop talking or I’m gonna tell you that the Crucible book didn’t have a woman in jail giving birth to a baby…or something crazy like that.

Good Luck!

no longer too optimistic approximately 3 adjustments, yet i understand there grew to become right into a scene extra into the action picture between John Procter and Abigail Williams – close to the top of the action picture, i think of – the place she is going to work out him in the previous he’s to be hung. that doesn’t seem interior the play 🙂
