What are some really good colleges to apply for in North/South Carolina or Florida?

I consider myself to be an excellent student..I’m in the top 5% of my class, I’m in numerous of clubs and I’m going to graduate with an honors diploma..the only thing is..I just took the SAT two months ago and I got a 520, 530 and a 510! I’m also certain it’s because I’m HORRIBLE with timed tests…will I still be able to get into a good college?

I’ve always been impressed with Loren Pope’s book, “Colleges that Change Lives”. Here’s his web page with the schools in the South that he has reviewed. All definitely worth a look…

Try taking the SATs again. That’s the only thing holding you back at this point. And consider Clemson University in SC – it was ranked 27 out of the top public universities this year.
