what are some good universities in miami? are any comparable or better than rutgers university in new jersey?
the original plan was to attend rutgers in camden, new jersey. i have some friends that are going to school in miami. i need to know if any universities down there are worth the move and why. thanks!

You have to judge a college by the program you are interested in. Rutgers is a very good college for psychology, that is the program I research there. Miami has some very good Forensic and Corrections programs. Research the program you are interested in, not just the college as a whole. The undergrad I went to was a great teaching college but crap for psychology or anything else really. Also some colleges are very research based and some are applied based. So look into it with detail.
