What are some fun icebreakers for college students?
Favorite Answer
Or in a classroom can do stuff like, sign here if you are blonde, have kids, like chocolate, born on an even year.
I played it with some other college students. We went on a a short vaca together and played trainwreck in the Hotel basement. It was hilarious!
If you just want to get together and have a free room w/ chairs you can play trainwreck. You put a bunch of chairs around in a circle. If there are 20 ppl playing only use 19 chairs. One person has to stand in the middle of the circle. He/She has to say one fact about him/herself and then say trainwreck. (Ex. I love watching chic flicks) When ppl here “trainwreck”, the students sitting down who also like watching chick flicks have to get up and run to sit in another chair. [The chair must be more the 3 seats away from the original seat the student got up from-this makes it more challenging to get an empty seat b4 someone else does.] The last person standing again has to say a fact about him/herself. This is a great way to learn about eachothers interests.
Blanket Drop
Every student has to say his/her name. Then you form two teams. Two ppl have to help eachother hold up a blanket. The two teams stand on opposite sides of the blanket. Each team has to pick one person at a time to stand directly in front of the blanket. Then when the blanket drops the two chosen students have to guess the other person’s name as fast as possible. The person who says the correct name gets to sit OUT of the game. Both teams repeat this over and over again. The winning group is the team that got completely OUT of the game because they guessed all of the opposing teamates names correctly.
