what are my chances of getting into a high level university?

I’m a senior in high school this fall. My GPA is around 4.5 weighted and 3.7/3.8 unweighted. My extracurriculars are only NHS and leadership. I have only about 140 hours of community service. I made it into the national merit scholarship program even though my score(200) was below the cut off. (it may be because I’m a female minority)

My test scores: SAT reasoning: 1960

Biology E subject test: 640

US History subject test: 700

AP World history: 3

AP Biology: 4

AP US History: 4

AP Eng. Lang. and Comp.: 3

And the only thing that stands out about me is that I’m short.

You stand a good chance at selective colleges and a moderate chance at highly selective colleges. As a female you are in the majority of college applicants so that counts against you, balancing other statuses to some degree. I don’t think the short will help much, or hurt much.

What kind of minority? So far, you don’t stand out that much. Just not enough extra currics for the top privates. One of the better state schools should take you unless you’re Asian. Then you’d be borderline.
