What are good colleges for psychology?
Favorite Answer
Undergraduates at NUS are *required* to conduct a *true experiment,* which requires them to do masters theses-level research. They are required to take courses in research methods & design, statistics, and physiology. Many of these courses are not required at the undergraduate level. And research at the undergraduate level is almost unheard of. NSU students have a definite advantage over other psychology students competing to get into graduate-level psychology programs.
PS- Undergraduate degrees in Psychology are NOT worth “crap.” However, the level of expertise required for the different fields of the profession could not be attained in only 4 years of study. That is why the 4-year B.A. is considered preperatory. One could look at the B.S. in Pre-Medicine the same way.
