You can go to any college in So Cal for your Pre Pharmacy program. UCSD has wonderful science departments.

You should take all the AP courses that your school offers if you want to get a jump on getting out of college. I don’t know anybody who got out of an entire year of college while still in high school. Most where able to cut down on the class load and get ahead of the rest of us so maybe you should lower your expectations a little bit. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. It is good that you have a plan but take a little time to enjoy your life now and don’t put off everything until you get this degree or that certificate. America has more educational opportunities than most of care to even investigate and the hoops to jump through are increasing all the time. Try to determine what is really important to you and not be pressured by all of the crazy expectations around you.

AP classes have nothing to do with your major; as I see it, the only advantage is to boost up your GPA. You end up taking high school classes for which you get college credit, but instead of taking them with expert professors, you take them from high school teachers. This frankly doesn’t much benefit you, but as I said, you almost have to do it in order to be competitive as far as GPA. Taking your first year of college at high school isn’t a great idea, I’m afraid. If you must do it, take things like History and English which will cover your general ed requirements, not the subject matters in your major.

There seem to be three Pharmacy Schools in Southern California – USC, UC San Diego, and Loma Linda University. Sorry, but I can’t tell you the GPAs for those. This would be your college GPA anyway, because Pharmacy School is a graduate program. For undergraduate, they generally want you to major in biology or chemistry.

I was a pre pharmacy major. You have to take lots of Chemistry and Physics, and Biology. Just take the time that you need to focus on your studies and when you get to college you will take Pre-Pharmacy classes and lots of Chemistry and Biology

All the math, science, and English with a writing emphasis that you can take. Get A’s in everything. Now go and do!

AP classes suck, once your in, you can’t get out, i took it for granted, but the workload is enormous, in just world history i had 3 essays to do in 1 day

i pretty sure you should take ap math class and ap science classes umm.. thats probably bout it and if you school has a health science technology class then you should probably try to get into it
