The University of California system has several branches: Santa Barbara, San Diego, Los Angeles, Berkeley to name a few. The climate is much like Florida minus the alligators, and hurricanes. I loved living in California when I was younger and I hope you have a wonderful experience, too.

You will need an unofficial transcript for advisement purposes to compare to your new college’s program of studies. When you apply, you need to request and pay a small fee for official transcripts to be forwarded to your college in CA. An academic advisor will evaluate your credits and usually if they are “C” or better, all credits transfer. That has been my experience, both as a student and as an academic advisor.
