To those in the medical field, what is IT for Healthcare Professionals?
I have that class coming up this semester (which starts on Wed.) and I’m nervous about it. Is it hard? I’m not much of a computer geek, and IT is obviously computer oriented, would a non-geek be able to understand it? Is it very technical? Thanks!

I’m not a computer geek either, but it really is not that technical.
If u are somewhat computer savvy and know medical terminology you should be fine……..but my class may have been different from yours.

all of medicine is moving towards electronic data, electronic medical records and so forth. get on it now and you wont be left behind
