To become an author/writer/novelist, what college should one attend?
Favorite Answer
U of Washington, U of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Vanderbilt University, and Yale University to name a few.
Believe it or not, some smaller schools can garnish rave reviews for their preparation in the English major:
Bowdoin College (Maine), Grinnell College (Iowa), St. Mary’s University (Minnesota), and Claremont-McKenna (California).
The key in the English major is to know that pretty much wherever you study, the major is going to be fairly similar. You may have more resources at Vanderbilt than you would at Grinnell, but sometimes the smaller classes make up for the bigger accomodations. If you are aiming for a certain degree aim for either a general English degree, a degree in English – Language & Letters, or a degree in English – Creative Writing. It’s very broad and you can specify your particular interest upon entering the program. It’s very easy. Good luck!
While reading the works of other writer/novelist try to analyze their style coz every writer has their own respective style. So make sure you will develop your own as you go on, so you can be famous.
Good luck!
Promise I’ll buy your first book.
i hope this helps, bye bye 🙂
there are so much choice good luck
