To all Brown alumnis and current students.?

I am determined to apply ED to Brown this coming November, well aware that it is extremely competitive. However, I would like to know, why you chose Brown. What aspect of Brown appealed most to you? Also, how was your academic life? What sets Brown apart from other schools?

Brown appeals to me greatly because I believe it gives you great academic freedom.

I would love to go visit myself, but I live in Japan.

I’m also going to be applying to Brown too this fall! The main reason why I’m applying to Brown is because it was rated as the #1 school with the happiest students! I figure you can’t go wrong in the school with the happiest students! Also, at brown, there are no core classes which means i can actually choose the classes I want to take and not have to worry about being forced to take an English (yech) class.
