Ok, so assuming that you are going to attend a school in the USA, this is how I would go about it.

What you will find is that a basic biology degree isn’t going to cut it in the professional field. A bachelor’s of science in natural resources, conservation biology, ecology or fisheries/wildlife would be a better choice. In addition, try to find a school that allows for applied ecological research and field techniques, as you will be better able to find a job with that experience. As a general rule, permanent jobs with decent salaries require a master’s degree in wildlife or higher.

A great website that I would recommend is the wildlife society, as it has a listing of all the schools in the US that offer this major. The website is:

http://wildlife.org/professional/index.cfm?tname=university

This road is a long one, filled with lots of science and math, but if working with wildlife is your passion, then definately pursue a degree at one of these schools.

Wildlife biology… if that major isn’t available, I’d say 99% of universities offer some sort of environmental science degree, which can lead to a career in wildlife biology.

college: classes in biology, microbiology, physics, zoology, botany, anthropology, organic and organic and inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, and genetics are pronounced or required in maximum animal-proper degree granting courses. Graduate college: A grasp’s degree or Ph.D. in zoology, flowers and fauna administration, anthropology, or an analogous container, or a DVM (health care professional of Veterinary drugs) is needed for many positions.

biology is the best because you get to study lots of fields under biology… the general ones. so you’re open to more options and you get a broader picture. if you want the more specialized ones.. try ecology or zoology
