Teaching Masters?
I would like to get a masters degree in education for teaching Latin and History at the secondary school level but I’m not quite sure where to go. I have been thinking about something in the UK or Ireland as I have traveled there and love it dearly, or on the east coast as the prevelence of Latin teaching jobs is (I beleive) higher due to Latin and Greek still being taught in old private schools. Where do you think would be the best schools/areas for this?
Thanks!

I think you should go to school where you want to teach, so that you will know the area well, and so that your license will apply to where you want to teach. Check out teaching jobs for Latin at aclclassics.org. There are many jobs for Latin teachers in America.

No matter where you go there are license issues and you should talk to some in the Ed school in the state where you want to teach. While private schools are often exempt from having licensed teachers, that is changing.
The best school will be one that graduates a lot of people who teach Latin.
