Take a year off? Or go straight to Uni?

Hi!

I’m 20 years old and in College. I graduted this April.

..I’m in about 12, 000$ debt from college. Should I take a year off and work to pay that off before going to uni? Or should I go straight to uni after i graduted?

I would rather take a year off and try to find a job in the feild I would want to master. If not, then any other job, I will definately gain some life experiences and of course, earn the money I need to pay off my debts.

My advice is don’t get too much in debt. My grandson is finding that out the hard way….came out owing $40,000 , is newly married and going to have payments for a long time.

I would pay off this debt before adding more…or apply for a scholarship of some kind….there are lots of them….are you talking for a Master’s Degree? Work your way through if you have to…but keep out of more debt!

go straight to college. it doesn’t matter if you owe money. besides you can get a college grant or scholarship. or do some part time jobs after school. look, education is more important. the faster you finish the sooner you’ll get a high paying job. don’t waste time go straight to college. there’s always ways to pay debts. good luck.

If ur planning on gettin ur master i suggest u go straight and not take a year off. U could always get grants n loans to help. After gettin ur bachleor u could then think of whether takin a year off or not.
