Staying motivated?

I’ve been going to a really good private school my whole life and I just switched to a public school for high school. I’m taking mostly honors classes (every possible honors class except one-government) but the stuff seems too easy and the other students don’t seem as smart as me. Is this just because they’re still remembering stuff from the end of last year and the teachers are reviewing stuff or will it be like this all year?

If your private school was good–you are miles ahead of 90% of the students. .Recommend talking with your counsellor about taking College classes…

If you are that bright and experienced and motivated, yeah, you’ll probably be bored. Take your education to the next level and research your assignments beyond what’s asked of you, and engage yourself in a higher level. A: You’ll challenge yourself. B: You’ll impress the pants off your instructors. Go “above and beyond” what’s required of you. Offer assistance to your classmates. Put yourself into a leadership role. It will be noticed and you’ll be adding to your resume. Good luck to you, sweetie.
