something i noticed… ( Engg Vs Medicine)?
I study engineering and is somehow confused whether to stay or to switch to medicine … it’s confusing because i’m really not sure of what i really like and what i would want to do in the future. I know i want to do something that matters and help people.. i just don’t know from what aspect. I’m worried that someday i would say the same and wish that i switched to medicine when i had the chance.
Is anyone out there facing the same problem? how are you dealing with it?

If you like math and physics, and do NOT like memorizing everything you will ever read for the next 8 years, go into engineering. If you have a desire to save people, would rather say away from the hard-core math and physics but love memorizing O-Chem and biology etc, go for the medical.
And if you love both equally, get the PhD in engineering then go back for your MD. You’ll be in school until your mid-30’s, but then you can go into things like designing new medical equipments, new procedures, etc. I know several (brilliant) people who have done that.
