Should more classes in college have exempt test?

I am so sick of wasting my time in these general ed classes for stuff I already know.

I don’t think I learned one new thing in my freshmen year

Why can’t colleges just have a system where all classes (Except for those that require a demonstrated skill like speech, cooking, marketing presentation, ect) just have a test at the beginning of the year, if you prove you are knowledgeable in the subject to be able to pass the class you can exempt it. DONE, Give me more time to focus on the classes that will actually…you know…Help me follow my major and not waste the school’s or my time.

Well, most highschools allow students to earn college credits for college-level classes. Either by having college certified personnel teaching at the highschool (AP level) or by allowing highschool students to take their classes at the local college.

You could also take the SAT subject tests to receive credit and bypass the course. Did you do that?

Did you ask the university what is required to test-out before accepting your application?

Sounds like you wasted your own tim – and money. How unfortunate.
