Should I graduate this year with a degree in HTM or transfer schools and get a business degree?

In what state do you plan to work once you graduate? Outside of Massachusetts, UMass Amherst has a very strong reputation. Their HTM program is also considered strong. I don’t see the reputation of Rutgers as being all that much stronger than that of UMass Amherst – not strong enough to prompt a transfer when you’re only 9 classes from graduating.
Have you done any internships or worked part-time at the campus hotel or another campus facility in a role that’s related to your degree? Since this is your last year, and you’re no longer doing soccer, this could be an opportunity for you do to an internship, co-op or part-time work in HTM. This would make you much more attractive to employers when you graduate.
So, unless you KNOW that you don’t want anything to do with HTM, I’d stay put. Graduate. Work a couple of years. Then see what path you want to take.
