Should I change my Major?
I am a senior and my major is BIS. I am worried that I wont be as successful in my major as others or as much as I’d like to be. I dont even know what to change it to; but, I am getting bored in the major classes and I should be enjoying this stuff….some of it is over my head though. I want more of a creative major….but scared cause I dont think I would make a lot of money in an arts major. I want to do webdesign and am wondering if it is as fun as it looks or is it more anal than I think….I have programmed with many languages, but never just on my own or for a job.

I think it’s always best to just keep your major especially since you’re almost done because in the end, the undergrad degree doesn’t really matter…it’s all about where you go for your grad degree after that…i’ve seen music majors go to med school and science majors go to law school..even with me i am a bio major and a senior as well and i discovered last year that lab work is not the thing for me so I will be going to business school once i graduate…good luck

What is BIS??? could you be more specific? we’re not mindreaders…
Secondly, web design is a science more than it is a creative industry.
I am a graphic designer and it really sucks to have all the worlds dummies trying to get in on my career because they think “the arts” are easy…
Artistic fields are just as strenuous and require just as much competency as any other field.
If you are lazy or just want to do “fun” things then please do not waste our time and resources just so you can slow everyone else down in college.
I don’t mean to sound so harsh – it just gets really tiresome defending my education from people who think the arts are “easy and fun”.
