That’s a lot of questions … I’ll give it a try:

Liberal studies/ liberal arts = the study of theology, literature, languages, philosophy, history, mathematics, and science.

Criminal justice = study of the criminal legal system; NOT the same as a law degree (pretty worthless degree unless you want to go into law enforcement or law school)

Professional studies = usually graduate level work, like law school or medical school, or other doctoral programs

Political science = study of government and politics, domestically and internationally. Great if you’re interested in politics or want to go to law school

Associates degrees = 2-year degrees, usually offered by community colleges or junior colleges; can be used to transfer into a 4-year program
