Q for people who have degrees?

Would you say it was the hardest thing you have ever done?

No way. The real world is a lot harder than college. It is a sense of accomplishment though.

Well, it depends on what degree (either your associate or bachelor’s) you are looking to pursue and the time you have available in your schedule. Most students (like I did) have to work at the same time you go to school. I admit that does make things challenging. But as long as you stay organized and ask for help when you need it (most professors are more than happy to help if you just ask), getting a degree is not impossible. It is a challenging process, but no challenge comes without double the reward. I say give college (either community college or 4 year school) a try. It might be best to go to a community college first. Get your associates degree and then decide if transferring to a 4 year school is a task you feel confident handling. Good luck, and with the right amount of discipline, you will be successful.

I have 3 degrees. BS in Physics. BS in Mathematics. MS in Business Science. In 59 years the hardest thing I’ve done is making sure in the morning waking up and finding the floor.

It is a hard thing I’ve done but not the hardest. Just remember that the harder something is to accomplish the greater the feeling of accomplishing it is. If your real question is to go to college or not, the answer is 100% YES!!!!

Good luck!

No. My teaching degrees were easy to get – both Bacehelors and Masters. The hard part was learning how to REALLY teach. Degrees don’t always prepare you for the real world. Experience was my best teacher.

Not at all. Raising children was much harder. The degree was a piece of cake in comparison.
