It depends if you want to do Counseling (2 years for an MS), or Clinical/School/Counseling which takes a Ph.D. or Psy.D. or if you want to be a researcher, which also takes a Ph.D, but not a Psy.D. A good doc program is anywhere from 3 to 6 years depending on you, your chair, your research, etc.
