Outstanding Extracurriculars?
What are some outstanding extracurriculars that will make me stand out from everyone else? I already do volunteering by managing a website, making new pages, updating, fixing, etc. for a nonprofit organization. I’m also trying to land myself an internship but not many companies want to hire high school interns :\

Anything where you take an initiative. In other words, start something or take a leadership role. Companies like people who are leaders. If you can write something like “I organized and ran a toy drive for low income children in my community”. Its better than, I ran in relay for life.

get involved in the community. through your school or just volunteering at walks for diseases, the red cross, join a volunteer rescue squad or something of that nature. major corporations are always involved in the community and doing stuff like walks and things like that. look on the website of the company you want to work for and see what they do.
