Becoming a CCRN usually requires 2+ years of floor eperience on a Med Surg unit. Some programs, however, welcome new grad RNs into their programs, so it just depends on where you will do your training.
Your bachelor’s degree is the ony one that should take 4 years. Your Master’s degree will take 1-2 years, depending on your thesis/project.
A PhD will usually take 4-5 only because it requires research and planning, data analysis, etc. It is more for those who want to become Nurse Scientists or do research in some field.
