Confused but hopeful

Missing College so much! Should I quit work and go back?

Recently, I graduated with a degree in Psychology from College. I went (at some point) straight into a career, full time job in my field. It turns out, it is extremely trying. I work for very angry, impatient, troubled teenage girls. Some days are better than others, but some days just leave me so depressed. I feel as though, even though I make good money there and I AM KEEPING MYSELF BUSY, REALLY MISS SCHOOL! The thing is, after you get your Bachelors Degree, there is pretty much no way of taking more classes for that. I have not really applied to Grad School yet, and I feel like I am about to loose my mind. What should I do? Thanks everyone! πŸ™‚

Quick and simple. Have you really given it all you can within such a short time? Is it about the money or the young ladies who need your expertise? Is it about staying busy or reaching deeper within yourself to serve the needs of these girls? Lastly, do you really just miss school or did you cheat yourself by not going straight into grad school to receive a better grip on this major? Or did you choose the wrong field?

If you did not, please do not lose your mind. You chose a deep field of study. Your area of expertise is definitely needed in society. Those troubled girls need you or someone who is ready for the challenge. If this is not you at this time and place then go back to school. Don’t let your degree make you. Make your degree from what’s in your heart. Think deep. You made a great choice in your studies!

Get the hell out of that job sweets and do it now.

Further your education and get some peace of mind about you.

Being depressed and stressed out and taking the job “home with you” is how it has been for you. I have read a couple of questions that you have posted as of late. It’s time to take a break and find yourself again.

Money means nothing if you are stressing your slowly destroying yourself physiologically and that is the last thing you need. Now go and do what makes you HAPPY! πŸ™‚
