That’s really easy. I’m not going to do them for you, but I’m going to show you how. For example, A. You need a decimal between 1/8 and 1/4. You equalize their denominators by changing 1/4 into 2/8 by multiplying the numerator and denominator by 2. What is in between 1/8 and 2/8? 1.5/8 is between both. You don’t like having a decimal in fractions so you multiply the numerator and denominator by 2 getting 3/16. This is what you do with all the others. However, there are way more possibilities then that, this just so happens to be the easiest to solve. For B, 1/6 and 1/12. 1/6 is equal to 2/12 because you multiply the top and bottom of the fraction by 2. 1.5/12 is between 2/12 and 1/12. You multiply the top and bottom by 2 to get rid of the decimal getting one out of many solutions, 3/24 which you can simplify to 1/8. Try C and D on your own to practice.

You find the andswer to each of these by finding equivilent fractions by dividing the numerator and the denomonator by like numbers, then take equivilent fractions in between them.
