Majoring in journalism???

My college in town offers three types of journalism:

Print, Broadcast, & Public Relations

What is the difference, what kind of jobs can you get, and which do you think is best and why for all three of the types of journalism.

Im not really into broadcast, but working in a magazine (like seventeen, teen vogue, cosmo, etc) is what really interests me. Where are these mag HQ’s located? How can I get a job there..and how much do they make?

If you want to work in a magazine, you should go with Print journalism or Public relations…print journalism will train you to be a good writer for papers (newspapers, magazines)…with public relations journalism, you will also be trained to write, but your writings will focus more on “promoting” a certain product and establishing “connections” in the field (i.e. knowing “famous” people or some important people in the field)…in short, public relations will train you more on the marketing side…

On the other hand, the medium used in broadcast journalism is more on TV or radio rather than print…

By the way, PR is also important in the field of broadcast journalism…but you work behind the camera, so they say, not in front of it…

As for the salary, I’m sorry but I don’t know much about this one…
