Hi is there anyone from MIT university..???I have few doubts to ask…(also looking for stanford,columbia university students).Is there anyone out there.I have some questions regarding placements and projects.Eagerly waiting for your positive responses.Thank you.

I’d suggest you surf on over to web.mit.edu/admissions, and check out the site there. If you look hard enough, you’ll find a dozen or so current students who’ll answer questions about the ‘Tute. Also a fine bunch of faq’s, etc.
If you want a grizzled old alumni perspective, I’ll try to answer you, but I left over 30 years ago. Things have changed.

Research on cosmology means you want a PhD in astrophysics, NOT an aerospace engineering degree. Those are completely different fields, and MIT does not have a good astronomy program. You need to figure out what you want before applying to schools. MIT takes about 6 students from India each year. It really doesn’t sound like you’ve managed to distinguish yourself; everyone applying has the highest grades.
