That really depends on you. The GED is going to cover the following:
Basic Mathematics
Polynomial equations
Planar Geometry
Grammar
Reading Comprehension
Essay Writing
If you are comfortable with those, then you don’t need classes. If it’s been awhile, or you’re unsure, then classes can’t hurt you. I would try to find a practice exam for your state’s GED before signing up. Many states offer practice exams on their Department of Education Websites.

The GED is easy. I’d say if you had much more than an 8th grade education you can pass it. I took it this week.
