Any college/university can be difficult to get into. The real question comes down to whether or not you have the right GPA and credentials.
Be careful how much you spend on an undergraduate degree. $20,000 over four years adds up very quickly and the returns from becoming a teacher may mean most of your paycheck would be used to pay for your education. Starting teacher salaries are about $27,000-$30,000 depending on the state and location. Compare that to more than $80,000 of debt and you quickly see that paying for that education would be very prohibitive. Get some scholarships or start out at a community college and save yourself money on your General Electives.

Compared to other schools, these schools aren’t particularly difficult to get into, but that doesn’t mean that everyone will get in (they also aren’t considered very expensive, compared to other schools).
