It isn’t difficult to get into Penn State. (It would be similar to applying to Michigan). If you can’t get into University Park (the main) campus, it is even easier to get into a branch campus and then after one year switch to University Park.
I would say you can get into main campus with a B average and 1100 from high school without a problem.
The only difference because you are from Michigan is that you would be paying more than an instate student.

Michigan is slightly more difficult to get into. Penn state’s average SATs are around a 1650-1900 and a 3.0 gpa + should be fine.

Hi!
I’m from Pennsylvania, but it’s not hard to get in Penn State.You don’t have a to have straight A’s.The tuition would be more expensive of course, but it’s not hard to get in.
