Is it difficult for an RN to get her BSN from an associates?

So I have decided to go back to school. I am going to get my RN nursing degree. I looked at a lot of schools but they are all so pricey and about 15k a year for an instate student, however they offer an associates degree in Nursing, not just for a LPN but for an RN as well at my local community college and it’s about 1500 a year. However once I get that I would have to get by BSN. Is it difficult? Could I do it on-line?

Also about how much does an RN with an associates make? What are the different positions that are avialable between an RN and an BSNRN?

Thank you for all your kind aswers. I am very grateful.

at Northwest College in Powell WY there is a 2-year RN course, and tuition is under $6k for an out-of-state student—far less if you rent a small place in town and establish in-state residency. Been there, been in the nursing program, served in student senate, have many friends there, including a very influencial lady who can help you in ways you maybe cannot imagine—e-me if you are intterested, you ARE a contact—all the best, Brian

First i thankyou for the question.it’s honest and nice to hear from someone like you.

It’s going to be hard and that’s the truth.

I suggust you get your LPN first and work a

year.you don’t want to be paying it off wile going to collage for your RN

Only way to get your RN is to get collage credits and finish RN school then work in

a hospital for your enturnship .

then if you want to go on it.s back to collage again it’s to get.your specialty.

If you get a doctoret in medacine, you can

work under doctor to get intry to NURSE

PRACTINER school.thats medical school.

when you graduate, you can practis medicen as same as a dooctor.

N o matter what you make for the first 5 years.a lot of it will have been spent on your education.

LPN’S work by contract or hour.$18.00 a

hour.

RN’S work by contract or hour.$ 28.00 to

$ 38.00 a hour.

If your RN working in a hospital as a sugery

nurse,UP TO $75.00 a hour or more.

so you see you hafto want it bad.If you stop at LPN your still ahead.I admire you

for wanting to help people..
