Although SAT scores are optional, only 20-25% do not submit scores. I believe the typical SAT scores are in the 650-750 range for each part of the test. (This is according to Princeton Review.) Grades are considered very important, as is the difficulty of your course load. You also need to show that you’re an interesting, intellectually curious person. This will come through in your essays, recommendations, interview, and in the activities in which you participate.
