Is a D- passing if it is in my minor?

generally speaking at your college. check this website uwrf.edu to see if you can find it, uwrf.edu cus i sure can’t..

Probably it is just passing. The best source would be to check your college handbook. Also, if you are getting a D in a chosen minor, you might think about changing your minor.

Colleges and universities usually only require an overall 2.0 GPA to consider it passing. So, if you take the GPA for all of your minor program classes, and it averages over a C, you will be ok with the D. However, if the D puts you below the threshold I would suggest retaking the course to earn a better grade.

I couldn’t find the information you want on the website you provided either. You should get in touch with an academic adviser at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls.

I know from experience, however, that ordinarily a C or C- is the lowest grade permitted in a minor.

That one is a little vague. I found the grading scale for your university, but it does not give a GPA value for a D-. I would look at your course syllabus for clarification. Some profs have their own grading scale.

a C at an accredited University or college in america is considered passing. and employers won’t like that letter when getting jobs
