Should I drop my high school PRE-CALCULUS class?

Im a senior in high school and we just started school on wednesday. I can already tell that this class is going to be impossible. There are like 30 kids in my class and the teacher doesn’t even try to make it interesting. It is so difficult and Im already completelyy lost

I already have the three years of math i need to graduate, and I have always gotten straight A’s in algebra and geometry. But this is something different, its not even remotely interesting to me. So should I drop the class I REALLY dont want to ruin my 3.5 GPA and I know I will. If I do and pick-up some history class or something will colleges look down on me. For finishing on Algebra 2? Will I still get into a good school like Spelman or Maryland? PLEASE WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST!!! I have enought to worry about with my other classes and I cant meet for extra help in pre-calc EVERY DAY like he suggests. I know that I’ll get D in this class, I just KNOW it.

Can I just wait until college? I want to do Bio or Communic

just drop the course. as long as they haven’t started sending out reports to colleges yet. the college will never know that you drop it. its better to get a good grade in a regular course than a bad grade in a advance course. You have a chance of getting into Maryland but it depends on other things other than your G.P.A. if you have enough extracurricular and a great SAT score plus good teacher recommedations you have an okay shot of getting into that college.

I suggest you dont drop out no matter what its gonna ruin your gpa. If you drop out its going to look worst then if you attempted and failed.

Do you know which colleges you are interested in ? If you do, check their websites and see what their requirements are, then decide. You may have to take more math in college, depends on the college requirements and the requirements for your major.
