I assume you’re talking about your dorm. I lived in a dorm that also had these rules, but the resident assistants didn’t enforce it. Basically, residents could have overnight guests as long as they didn’t make it obvious. It could be that your residence is the same way. Alternately, there might be guest housing available on campus. Usually guests have to pay, but it is cheaper than a regular hotel at about $25.
