Have you talked with your school counselor? They usually have access to lots of info resources. But, from the internet, try these links.
To all UT system
UT Knoxville

UT Chattanooga

consider visiting http://www.petersons.com/ to get admissions info (average SAT/ACT scores, level of difficulty to get accepted)
Key info you need:
Application deadlines and forms: this tells you what to do to apply, the application fees, documents, essay, tests, etc. Your school counselor may have specific resources for you to use
Financial aid: first, you need to be accepted, but get this information early as there are forms to complete and documents to gather in support of the forms.
Do you have a major subject area in mind? If so, find out the courses required for that major by going to the department of the major (e.g. math major = math department; business major = business department)
Contact the university about freshman orientation and other resources for new students. It won’t hurt to also contact the counselors at the university….specifically those dealing with admissions and incoming freshman.
Hope this helps. Best wishes on your endeavors.
Here in Michigan, if you wanted to become a Vet or study anything in regards to agriculture, Michigan State is the best choice, for Engineering – Michigan Tech. For Medicine, Law or Dentistry – University of Michigan.
Some schools specialize in education degrees, some art, some Law and Medicine. I think the best thing to do is contact each and see what they can offer you.
Best Wishes! Your family must be so proud! Good Luck in all your pursuits!
