I have a dual major in Criminal Justice and Psychology, with a minor in Women’s Studies. I will be entering my senior year, at the beginning of fall semester, taking 17 credits. At the end of my undergraduate education, which will total 4.5-5 years, I will be in A LOT of debt. I currently have five loans. I will also be attending graduate school, so I am only going to go further into debt.

Major: Sports and Leisure Studies, I will be a sophomore, I am taking 15 credits, I won’t have any debt because my parents saved all of the tuition $ in a prepaid college plan for me.

I can answer for my son if that’s ok… he is an engineering student who has 18 hrs scheduled and that doesn’t include labs. He is very fortunate that he rec’d so many scholarships that he actually gets paid to go to school. The better he does each year.. he keeps getting more… our state had a program where if you did well in High school and made a certain score on act’s then you got pull tuition paid for 4 years. I know it’s hard…. keep your chin up…… Proud of each and every college student out there!

3. taken up to 17, but 15 is just right for me and most people who want to have lives too!
4. I have been very blessed in that my parents started saving for my college as soon as I was born so I will not have debt leaving college.
