If I transfer to a Cal State University is it required of me to take a foreign language?

You are not required to take a foreign language at a CSU, however, it is one of the choices that you can take in order to fulfill GE requirements.

Yes – 2 years minimum (part of the A-G requirements from High School). Otherwise it depends on your major in college.
I think you may need three years for UC schools.

If you took 2 years in high school in California then you dont need to but if you took it in a another state then they might question you if you never took it then you have to take two years or you can get a tutur.
