It’s difficult to determine your GPA without your transcript. Try using this GPA calculator.

http://www.ag.unr.edu/cabnr/Students/GPA_Calculator.htm

Enter your Total # of Credits attempted in the first box, then enter your GPA (raw score; not rounded off). Then your Current Grade Index should match your GPA Points on your transcripts.

Then plug in your anticipated grades in the middle section of the calculator. Click “Compute” in the lower right corner then you should have your anticipated GPA.

Best wishes!

Now, you state that your first semester it went down. How could it go down if it’s your first semester? Cosmetology school doesn’t count as college. But…if you had a 3.1 in your first semester and received 4 A’s (4.0) then simply add the two (7.1) and divide by 2. The answer is 3.55.

Take some math courses while your there.

IF, a big IF, you took four classes the first semester with the same number of credits as the second semester, then it should be a 3.425 for 3 A’s and a B. 3.55 for 4 A’s.

getting a 4.0 with a 3.1 cumulative gpa will probably make it go up to a 3.4 or 3.5…..it takes a lot of good grades and a lot of time to get your accumulative gpa back up

Use ANT: A x N = T. Set up a system of equations and you’ll have your answer.

It will be around 3.55 or little lower

3.1 + 4.0 = 7.1

7.1 / 2 = 3.55
