Business is very broad, so it depends on what your focus (emphasis, major, concentration) was. The range can be a big one. I teach marketing, and the salary range is from the high 20s to about 60K right now. Officially the average is about 34K, I think. Students take a range of jobs from sales (high paid) to advertising or PR jobs (low paid). I have had people go into market research jobs and marketing analyst jobs. Probably the job titles I see most often are account coordinator, marketing coordinator, and marketing assistant, although a lot of sales representatives are among them too.

The range of salaries and jobs are endless. Over 75% of the nations workforce have degrees in business. It is the degree that supplies workers not only here in North America, but abroad as well.

If you are not sure about what your future career should be, I suggest you get a copy of the top business magazines – Forbes, Management, etc. and read the articles about the hot and rising career choices. International marketing will be the wave of the future – so make sure that you are fluent in at least one other language.

Whatever you decide, good luck to you.

Work is supposed to be stressful, not easy. And keep in mind even with a degree in Business (preferably with a concentration in something such as Management or Marketing) you’ll still be starting at entry-level as a corporate grunt and little pay. Everyone in their uncle takes Business so be warned that it’s not going to get you to the corner office anytime soon.

Work hard, choose something you’re passionate about and you’ll earn more in both your career and with money.

Well, there are alot of jobs that having a degree in business will help you get. One problem, since you have not mentioned the type of degree you are attempting to get it will be hard to know. If you take accounting, you can get a job with accounts payable/receivable. take humanities and you might land a job in HR, take computer course and you can do all sorts of data entry as you can see the options are yours!

It depends what you like to do. What is your degree exactly? Do you have a concentration, like finance or marketing?
