“If a college keeps contacting you, does that mean they are interested in you?
Im average in some things and then above average in writing and music. I really want to get into BGSU in ohio and i get info from them almost everyday, and personalized letters and e mail from admissions..so i was wondering..does that mean i have a good chance or am i just another mailing address.?

No…that does not mean that they are interested in you. That means that they are interested in your money. They really want you to go there so you will pay them tuition and make them more money. That doesn’t mean it’s not a good school – all schools want to recruit people to keep the university going. If you like it there, apply and do your best to get in. At this time however, you are just another mailing address.

It’s been awhile since I’ve applied for colleges (1998-1999ish), but when I applied usually they didn’t send me a lot of stuff. I requested information from three colleges, as well as requesting applications from each of those schools. I don’t remember receiving a lot of extra stuff from them, like it seems you’re getting from the school you want to go to. It sound like they are interested in you. If you haven’t applied already, apply soon. That way you can find out sooner if you get in or not, plus applying early ensures there will be space in the freshman class for you, if you are accepted. Plus at the college I wound up going to, a lot of the things depended on when you submitted your acceptance form and housing form. Submitting those things early can give you more choices later on, such as getting your choice of dorms if you decide to live on campus after your freshman year or being able to apply for classes before other people, which gives you more choices on what classes you are able to take and when (this is good because no one wants to get shut out of a class they want to be in or have to take 8am classes :)) Anyway, good luck!

there trying to recrutte you,and have people that just do that.
Did you contact them first,or did they?
It could be that your music teacher sent them a letter of your intention.
You have a more than a better chance getting in.They must know about you from
some one who thinks it’s what you need.
GO for it,with the best of luck.
