i wasn’t accepted in the nursing program at my school this year?
what do i do in the meantime while i wait to reapply for next year? i don’t want to take more classes that i won’t be needing..i’ved done all the prerequisites so now I’m kinda confused on what I should be doing. And what if I keep getting rejected every year? i can’t just wait forever

You should make an appointment with your academic advisor. Find out why you were rejected ( there is probably a waiting list) and see if you can work on fixing the problem. Try getting a job in the health field. Also, concider minoring in something. I am in the same prediciment, yet am still on my prereqs and have not applied yet, there is a 2 year wait. If all else fails, look into getting a degree in some other health field. Good luck!

Many nursing candidates get rejected because there aren’t enough teachers to handle all the students, and it’s actually causing a nursing shortage. Unfortunately, if you’re not on a waiting list, don’t count on getting accepted for years. There is a school in the Bahamas you can go to initially then transfer to a US school.
