I want to major in Biology in UCLA? Anybody who got a bachelors…?
What can I expect? Did you get a good job afterwards? Did you like the program? Was there a lot of outside classroom lessons?

The general Biology major has a lot of ecology classes. There were a good amount of outside classroom lessons like visits to the botanical gardens. Jobs I heard very greatly. From what I’ve heard, some like it, some don’t.

Biology at UCLA is highly competitive. It seems like everyone who majors biology there, at one point in their life, wanted to be doctors. That is fine, but once again, it is very competitive.
Check out the pharmacy profession. There are many advantages. They are:
1) Takes less time to finish
2) You can start a family and maintain it and see your kids everyday
3) Most jobs are 9-5
4) Starting salary is 75-150K depending on location
5) One of the most trusted profession in the US
6) Very flexible working schedule
7) You still get to be involved in a patient;s life
